With the use of iconic characters within the pop-art genre, along with the comic book-styled speech bubbles surrounding the ambassadors of her messages, Marina Calamai creates a dialogue that sets out to unravel the duality of reality as she interweaves quantum physics and ethics into her multilayers pieces.

The artworks are composed of chalkboard-styled panels and with chalk-written formulas, layered with engravings on plexiglass, and illuminated up by LED lights, gilded with Ferrero Rocher chocolate wrappers frame, mimicking the sacred and conductive energies of gold.

The exploration of subjects such as transformation, futurism and contemplation about the psyche are recurring themes within this collection.
