Acorn Pendant

110,00

The acorn, the fruit of the oak tree, has a strong mythological and spiritual symbology: in Celtic myths it is a symbol of immortality and fertility, the Druids ate them to obtain prophetic qualities. In other traditions it is a sacred fruit or an amulet. Symbol of life and birth, connected to its tree, it symbolizes the presence of divinity on earth and for this reason it also contains a meaning linked to eternity. The inspiration for this necklace/pendulum comes from the drawings of the tomb of Pope Julius II by Michelangelo. In fact, the Della Rovere family had the acorn as its symbol, which is magnificently represented in Michelangelo’s drawings.
